(CASTELLANO) Estado eléctrico no inventa nada nuevo, pero sabe cómo engancharte. Con una estética que te transporta directamente a los 90 y un aire de ciencia ficción distópica, nos mete de lleno en un mundo en ruinas donde una joven, junto a un robot con su propio encanto, se lanza a un viaje lleno de peligros y sorpresas. Aunque bebe de muchas otras historias, consigue tener su propia personalidad gracias a su estilo visual, que le da ese toque especial y envolvente. Uno de sus mayores aciertos es la forma en que equilibra emoción y acción. Tiene momentos que realmente consiguen emocionar, combinados con secuencias espectaculares que mantienen un buen ritmo. Puede que algunas escenas se alarguen más de la cuenta, pero la química entre los protagonistas y el atractivo del mundo que plantea hacen que la película se mantenga sólida. En lo visual, cumple con creces, sin buscar sorprender con efectos innovadores, pero ofreciendo un apartado técnico muy bien resuelto. Quizás su mayor problema es que no exprime todo su potencial. La base es interesante, pero a ratos da la sensación de que la historia podría haber ido más allá. Aun así, Estado eléctrico entrega exactamente lo que promete: una aventura bien llevada, con emoción y un diseño visual atractivo. No es la propuesta más original dentro de la ciencia ficción, pero si te gustan este tipo de historias con un toque nostálgico, merece la pena darle una oportunidad. With an aesthetic that transports you straight to the '90s and a touch of dystopian sci-fi, it throws us into a ruined world where a young woman, accompanied by a charming robot, embarks on a journey full of dangers and surprises. While it borrows from many other stories, it manages to carve out its own identity thanks to its strong visual style, which gives it a distinct and immersive feel. One of its biggest strengths is how well it balances emotion and action. It has moments that truly resonate, combined with spectacular sequences that maintain a solid rhythm. Some scenes may overstay their welcome, but the chemistry between the protagonists and the appeal of the world they inhabit keep the film engaging. Visually, it delivers exactly what it needs to—without aiming for groundbreaking effects, but with a technical execution that feels polished and effective. Perhaps its biggest flaw is that it doesn’t fully tap into its potential. The foundation is interesting, but at times it feels like the story could have gone further. Even so, The Electric State delivers exactly what it promises: a well-crafted adventure, packed with emotion and striking visuals. It may not be the most original sci-fi offering, but if you enjoy these kinds of nostalgic journeys, it’s definitely worth a watch.
