(CASTELLANO) Lo que hay dentro es una de esas películas que empiezas con escepticismo y terminas agradeciendo no haberla quitado a los diez minutos. Es rara, sí. Muy rara. Pero también es creativa, original y lo bastante ingeniosa como para mantenerte pegado a la pantalla intentando entender qué demonios está pasando. Y si consigues entrar en su juego, la recompensa es un buen rato de entretenimiento distinto. La historia va cambiando de rumbo constantemente, así que hay que estar muy atento o te pierdes con facilidad. Pero no es confusa por el simple placer de serlo; hay una lógica interna (retorcida, eso sí) que se va desvelando poco a poco. Lo curioso es que, aunque todo parezca un caos, la película tiene un ritmo que engancha y unas ideas que, sin necesidad de ser profundas, son muy divertidas de ver en pantalla. Es cierto que algunos personajes están apenas esbozados y que el humor puede ser un poco particular, pero el conjunto tiene algo que la hace funcionar. Puede que no a todo el mundo le guste el estilo visual tan marcado, o esa mezcla de ciencia ficción con fiesta universitaria y dilemas existenciales, pero hay que reconocerle valentía y personalidad. Y ojo al momento en que suena el segundo movimiento de la Sinfonía n.º 7 en La mayor de Beethoven. Es una versión fantástica y le va que ni pintada a la escena en la que aparece. Esa clase de detalles son los que elevan la experiencia y demuestran que, detrás del caos, hay también decisiones muy cuidadas. No es una obra maestra, ni lo intenta. Pero tiene chispa, juega con su propio absurdo y te hace pensar (o al menos intentarlo) sin dejar de pasártelo bien. Para una noche de cine con ganas de algo distinto, Lo que hay dentro es una propuesta que, aunque no perfecta, sí merece ser descubierta. (ENGLISH) It’s What’s Inside is one of those movies you start watching with doubt but end up being glad you didn’t turn off after ten minutes. It’s weird—very weird. But it’s also creative, original, and clever enough to keep you hooked, trying to figure out what the hell is going on. And if you manage to get into its game, the payoff is a really entertaining ride. The story keeps shifting direction, so you need to pay close attention or you’ll get lost. But it’s not confusing just for the sake of it; there’s an internal (twisted) logic that slowly unfolds. What’s interesting is that even when everything feels chaotic, the film keeps a rhythm that works and presents ideas that, while not super deep, are fun to watch play out. Sure, some characters are barely sketched and the humor won’t be for everyone, but as a whole, it clicks. Not everyone will love the strong visual style or that mix of sci-fi, college party vibes, and existential dilemmas, but you’ve got to respect its boldness and personality. And watch out for the moment when the second movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major plays. It’s a fantastic version and fits the scene perfectly. That kind of touch really elevates the experience and shows that, behind all the madness, there are some very deliberate artistic choices. It’s not a masterpiece—and it doesn’t try to be. But it’s got spark, it embraces its own absurdity, and it makes you think (or at least try to) while still keeping things fun. For a movie night when you’re craving something offbeat, It’s What’s Inside is definitely worth a shot.
